Filmmaking
Grades 7 – 8
Learn the basics of making a movie using professional cameras, lights and microphones. You will create a short film by yourself or in a small group. Show your film on the big screen at the end of class.

Character Design
Grades 7 – 8
Do you have an idea for a movie, animation, or comic book character? Learn how to draw your character from multiple angles, create facial expressions, and develop their backstory. You don’t have to be good at drawing to have fun in this class.
6 weeks, starting March 23

Creative Photography
Grades 7 – 8
Learn the basics of photography using professional cameras, explore the history of celebrated Black photographers, and create your own photo exhibit.
6 weeks, starting March 23

Ceramics
Grades 7 – 8
Learn how to use clay and paint your work with glazes. Make cool bowls and boxes that you can use at home. This fun class has a mix of group activities and individual time with lots of teacher support.
