All youth and adult programs are offered at no cost to any student. This includes tuition and supplies. We are grateful to the support of our donors who make this possible.

Youth Arts for High School Students

Our Summer 2019 Photojournalism Course for high school students will take place from July 22 to August 16. Students will learn to tell a story about themselves and their neighborhoods through the lens of photojournalism. Classes will meet on Monday and Friday from 1pm to 4pm for photography and journalism instruction. On Wednesdays, we'll travel around Erie and to Pittsburgh to expand our view of our neighborhoods  and those of others. Final projects will be displayed to the public at Celebrate Erie 2019.

Classroom sessions will be held at Radius Co-Work at 1001 State Street. Local artist Maitham Bagha-Asha will serve as Course Instructor with guest speakers from various sectors.

All course materials and all transportation are provided at no cost to any student. Course includes a full-day trip to Pittsburgh to tour Manchester Bidwell Corporation and Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece Fallingwater.

Space is limited to 15 students so download the Summer 2019 Photojournalism Course registration packet and reserve your spot today!
